■ Product features ■

•Having "UW Tripod Hub" as a fundamental part, this newly designed underwater tripod system offers wide variety of configurations of "pan-head parts" and "tripod legs".
•In addition to use on land and in freshwater, whole system is usable in saltwater thanks to specially selected material, surface finishing and assembling method. (*1)

After using, make sure to rinse the product in fresh water to dissolve salt deposit and apply grease according to respective user manuals.



● UW Tripod Hub features

•Designed to attach "Carbon Telescopic Arm SS/S/M/L" or "Stick Arm XS-T/SS-T/S-T/M-T" as tripod legs.

•Bundled ferrule offers two different styles depending on application.

•The UW Tripod Hub is equipped with 1/4 tripod screw to add "UW Panhead" or head part of variety of Shoe Base products (*2). Usable as a simple tripod by attaching underwater housing directly.

Compatible Shoe Base products are "Shoe Base 1/4-20UNC", "Shoe Base M6" and "Shoe Base BALL" as their head part can be separated. Those head parts are available in the market as below.

•The UW Tripod Hub offers three opening angles; [high], [middle] and [low].
Friction when opening/closing legs can be adjusted by tightening/loosening fixing bolts on joints.

•It is possible to add extra Lower Elevator on the packaged Lower Elevator to add 145mm/5.7in. in height.

Highest configuration with the UW 3-Way Panhead being raised in its highest position by bundled "Lower Elevator" and combined "Carbon Telescopic Arm L" are fully extended.


・It is also possible to hang down a camera system by attaching the elevator upside-down for extremely low angle shooting or shooting a subject just underneath of the tripod.
Underwater housing hung down from the "UW Tripod Hub" by installing the elevator upside-down.


・There are several options to enhance stability of the tripod system including hanging a dive weight from the strap hole or jointing a dive weight by using a ball-joint on a tripod leg besides using a stone bag.

● UW 3-Way Panhead Features

•Specifically designed for the UW Tripod Hub equipped with large handles to offer comfortable yet précised adjustment of combined camera position.


•When transporting, two handles can be jointed as per below image.


•Using Bundled "Panhead Adapter Base" supports secure and reliable underwater housing installation. (*3)

・Using Bundled "Panhead Adapter Base" also enables to attach an underwater housing combined with "Grip Base M1" or "System Base II" (*4)(*5)

The bundled "Panhead Adapter Base" is usable only when a housing is equipped with two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of 33 to 80mm/1.3 to 3.1in. on its bottom.

To install an underwater housing combined with INON Grip Base M1, the underwater housing has to have two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of either 33 to 40mm/1.3 to 1.6in. or 44 to 80mm/1.7 to 3.1in. on its bottom.

To install an underwater housing combined with INON System Base II (Main Base II), the underwater housing has to have two tripod screw holes (1/4 in.) with center-to-center distance of 47 to 80mm/1.9 to 3.1in. on its bottom.
