Zoom Gear EFS10-18STM for Canon EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM

Zoom Gear EFS10-18STM


Attaching “Zoom Gear EFS10-18STM” on Canon “EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM” (*4) enables to operate zooming by housing dial.
Either combination of existing “Dome Port 2+Shade 2 Set” + “Extension Ring 36” or “Dome Port 115” + “Extension Ring 36” is compatible with “EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM” (*4) . By attaching packaged “Shade Sponge D80” on inner side of the compatible port, built-in flash light is blocked to prevent the flash light from exposing on an image.

Optional product to utilize zoom function of the lens. “Shade Sponge D80” (*3) is packaged with the “Zoom Gear EFS10-18STM” and not necessary to be prepared separately.

Intermediate Extension Ring is required to be attached between “Dome Port 2” / “Dome Port 115” and “X-2” series housing. Mandatory for “EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM”.

(*3)
Attached on inner side of the “Dome Port 2”/ “Dome Port 115”to block built-in flash light to prevent the flash light from exposing on an image.

■ Features and benefit to use Dome Port 2/ Dome Port 115 ■

INON “Dome Port 2+Shade 2 Set” and “Dome Port 115” are compatible ports with Canon “EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM” lens.

Each combination has the different characteristics as shown below:

● “Dome Port 2+Shade 2 Set” + “Extension Ring 36”
・Stopping down to F11 or further, will have better image delineation when shooting at 16mm. (*5)
・Larger dome has advantage when shooting half-water/half-air image.

● “Dome Port115” + “Extension Ring 36”
・Stopping down to F11 or further, will have better image delineation when shooting at 16mm. (*5)
・Smaller dome supports easy lighting to shoot a subject in front of the dome.
・Inexpensive comparing to “Dome Port 2”
