「Z Adapter MV」「YS Adapter MV」「Direct Base III」are released
INON INC. is pleased to announce official release of new adapters listed below on December 10th, 2011 (*1). The new 「Z Adapter MV」 and 「YS Adapter MV」are improved model of existing 「Z Adapter」 and 「YS Adapter」to support flexible strobe movement even after clamping with lightweight body at more affordable price. Also existing 「Multi Direct Base II」 is face-lifted to the 「Direct Base III」 which can be attached on a strobe in addition to attaching on housing/base, at budget price together with optional accessories (*1).

●「Z Adapter MV」/「YS Adapter MV」
・ The「Z Adapter MV」/「YS Adapter MV」adds INON Arm II compatible ball joint on combined INON strobe etc. to link to an arm which is equipped with the ball-joint or housing/base which is combined with the 「Direct Base III」 via 「Clamp III」.
・ Newly introduced plastic ball joint provides flexible strobe positioning even without loosening the 「Clamp III」to make it dramatically easy to adjust strobe aiming.
・ Successfully trimmed total weight; 「Z Adapter MV」 air: 35.4g(1.2oz)/underwater approx. 16g (0.6oz) (existing model weight air: 45g(1.6oz) / underwater approx. 29g(1.0oz)), 「YS Adapter MV」 air: 20.4g(0.7oz) / underwater approx. 7g (0.2oz)(existing model weight air: 40g(1.4oz) / underwater approx. 22g(0.8oz)).
●「Direct Base III」
・ The Direct Base III is attached on majority of base products directly or on housings and particular bases via optional 「M6 Plate Direct Base III」 or 「M5 Plate Direct Base III」 to add INON Arm II system compatible ball-joint to link with an “arm” which is equipped with same type ball-joint or a strobe combined with 「Z Adapter MV」, 「YS Adapter MV」 or 「Direct Base III」 with 「Clamp III」.
・ Refined base design enables to attach on a strobe as well in addition to housings/bases. The ball-joint is made from metal to firmly fix strobe position by lightly clamp the 「Clamp III」 (it is necessary to loose the Clamp III to adjust strobe aiming). Depending on usage or preference, INON offers selection from 「Direct Base III」「Z Adapter MV」or 「YS Adapter MV」.

・ Optional accessory to attach the 「Direct Base III」 on a housing/base which is not able to accept the 「Direct Base III」directly.

When attaching 「Z Adapter MV」 on the 「Strobe Light Holder LE」 shipped before January 19th, 2012, 「Allen Wrench(AF:5mm)」(or「M6 Hex Wrench」) is required.Other INON products like Grip Base D4/Grip BaseM1 or Z Joint, Direct Base III, comes with the wrench as standard accessory.
It is necessary to replace original "screw" with the one supplied with the 「Strobe Light Holder LE」.
