Compatible NiMH Battery with Z-240/D-2000 Type 3 Strobe
INON INC. has confirmed Nickel Metal Hydride battery (NiMH) listed below are compatible with INON "Z-240 Type3"/"D-2000 Type3" in addition to current compatible Sanyo "eneloop (HR-3UTG)"
These new generation NiMH batteries have following characteristics;
Less self-discharging characteristic (*1) and
Less heat generating characteristic when charging/discharging (*1)
So make sure to read instruction manuals to familiar with usage and operational limitations before using your INON strobe.

Refer to respective user manual or contact respective battery manufacture for detailed specification of specific battery model like battery capacity, self discharging characteristic ,and handling precautions and instructions. INON INC. still recommends to use Sanyo "eneloop (HR-3UTG)" and published measured specifications of "Z-240 Type3"/"D-2000 Type3" are based on Sanyo "eneloop (HR-3UTG)" .

INON "Z-240 Type3"/"D-2000 Type3" require more strict compliance with operational limitation on flashing / Focus Light comparing to Type 2/Type 1 strobes (Xeon lamp Focus Light model). Any strobe operation beyond the limitation will directly cause heat application and/or degradation of Focus Light, light emitting part and inner electrical circuitry.
So make sure to read instruction manuals to familiar with usage and operational limitations before using your INON strobe.
